Renaissance Festival

I did end up going to the Renaissance Festival in Holly about two weeks ago! I almost forgot about it actually, which is why I didn't blog about it right away. I didn't even take any pictures to be honest, oh well!

It was a spur of moment, last minute kind of thing when John and I were looking for something to do. I didn't dress up because I didn't have the time nor a corset to complete my outfit.

We only stayed for about an hour and a half but we managed to cover the entire grounds and go back to some places.

We mostly just walked around and looked at things, looked at most of the shops, saw part of a show, and I ate a piece of teriyaki jerky.

It wasn't incredibly exciting but it was nice to go back, it looked just like how I had left it four years ago. I would like to go back again someday and spend more time, see more shows, maybe buy something. The one thing I realized though while I was there was that my tastes have really changed. I used to be in awe of everything I passed and wanted to buy everything there but now as I passed through shops (mostly stopping to look at jewelry as I was on the prowl for such) I was looking at things and thinking to myself that the things looked cheaply made- that I could do it myself or find something better on the internet.

It was fun and it'd be awesome if I could acquire a corset (or at least the money for one) in the next year or two so that I may be able to dress up in the full one of the next times I go.
